BODEGAS PROTOS has the privilege of having been born in the heart of one of the most important fortresses in the region, the castle of Peñafiel, a reference point for the entire Castilian-Leonese community and home to the Wine Museum.
This tourist package includes a visit to the two wineries, the old one that runs through the interior of the mountain and the new one, designed by the architect Richard Rogers, and a tasting of Protos Verdejoy Protos Crianza.
A UNIQUE RESTAURANT LOCATED IN A MILL: RESTAURANTE EL MOLINO DE PALACIOS
And we will eat a delicious roast lamb in an old 16th century flour mill, now restored as a restaurant, next to the river: RESTAURANTE MOLINO DE PALACIOS. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere to relax and enjoy this tasty Castilian delicacy, accompanied by salad and starters of fried rice blood sausage and chorizo from the pot. Bread, mineral water, young Ribera wine (one bottle for two), a choice of house dessert and coffee.
PEÑAFIEL CASTLE AND PROVINCIAL WINE MUSEUM
Also includes a guided tour of Peñafiel Castle and a free visit to the Provincial Wine Museum, located in the same castle.
This medieval fortress was declared a National Monument in 1917 and today the Provincial Wine Museum, an emblem for wine tourism in the Ribera del Duero, is located inside.

100% of the total amount of the reservation will be required by POS (credit or debit card) at the time of booking.
The reservation will not be effective until the actual availability of the package is checked. In the event that there is no availability, we will refund the amount of your reservation.
Once the reservation has been made effective and 100% has been paid, cancellation by the client may entail the refund of part of the money paid, depending on when it occurs:
- Up to 2 weeks before: 50% refund.
- Up to 1 week before: 25% refund.
- During the last 7 days: No refund.
- Partial cancellations (cancellation of any of the booked places) will not be refunded.
Once the reservation has been processed, changes to the check-in or check-out date are only allowed up to 48 hours before the check-in date.
